We worked with Credit Karma as their digital partner on a large number of campaigns and projects ranging from email marketing, display/social assets and video. Here are a few highlights:
Email & Display Campaign: Personal Loan
This social ad was for a Credit Karma personal loan campaign with the goal of beating their top performing asset. The concept was based on the insight that a personal loan can help you “count your chickens before they hatch.”
The campaign was a success, beating out the top performing asset consistently across multiple channels. The client tested the asset with a control headline and it still won over the original asset, proving the power of using a visual metaphor to telegraph the messaging.
Email Campaign: Credit Card
This email campaign was geared toward a subprime audience, messaging how a credit card could help build credit. The concept was based on the insight of how poor credit could give you the sinking feeling of being submerged under water, while good credit could feel like “coming up for air.”
The creative team created this campaign that helped visually communicate the aspirational feeling of successfully raising one’s credit score. The copy helped to instill confidence of getting approved for a new card, helping the member feel in control of their financial progress.
Email Campaign: Personal Loan
This email campaign had the goal of educating members how a personal loan was a good option for a large or unexpected expense. We came up with a concept based on the insight that a personal loan could take the “sting” out of a big expense.
The design team illustrated and animated a bee pollinating flowers representing the large expenses. The copy variations were tailored to two different audiences and different use cases.
